Des Moines Industrial is a multi-carrier railroad logistics park built on 40 acres in Des Moines, IA. The footprint includes 15,515 LF of track, a 115,000 SF Class A warehouse, an Iowa DOT certified truck scale, 10+ acres of laydown space, a railroad ramp and various transloading equipment. The facility is directly connected to the BNSF, Iowa Interstate, and Norfolk Southern railroads. It is also connected to Union Pacific through a reciprocal switch. The terminal can land blocks of cars in 2,500 LF increments, with space for two 2,500 LF blocks and a third run around track. We are actively transloading fly ash, limestone, potash, scrap metal, dry wall, lumber, rebar, organic grains, magnesium chloride and other commodities. We look forward to hearing from you!
