About South Point & Ohio Railroad The South Point & Ohio Railroad (SPOR) commenced operations in 2021 and was formed to lease and operate approximately 7 miles of railroad located within The Point industrial park in South Point, OH. SPOR is a subsidiary of Agracel Rail Holdings Company, operating as an independent rail operation headquartered at The Point. The South Point & Ohio Railroad is situated on the banks of the Ohio River in the Huntington, WV tri-state region. Our railroad offers 24/7 switching services to tenants and partners located in The Point and direct access to the Ohio River at The Point River Port. We interchange 5 days per week with Norfolk Southern, connecting our shippers directly to Chicago and points west as well as east coast ports via Norfolk Southern’s Heartland Corridor.
