The City of Prineville Railway (COPR) is a customer oriented short line railroad operating in Central Oregon between Prineville and Prineville Junction. Formed in 1918, the COPR directly serves industries in Crook County, Oregon. The line is the oldest continuously operated municipal shortline in the U.S. The COPR connects with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe and the Union Pacific Railroads at Prineville Junction three miles north of Redmond, Oregon. COPR has rail capacity and bridge ratings of 315,000 lbs. COPR guarantees interchanges within 24hrs of release with Monday-Friday switching. Current Services offered: ??
