All new 115 lbs. continuous welded rail is top of the line in the rail industry, 100% steel ties for superior holding capabilities, Our ballast is AREMA spec granite ballast. Granite ballast provides superior wear characteristics. All turnouts have point protectors and variable switch stands, Truck Scale on site. 225 Rail is a privately-owned rail car storage facility located on the south-side of the Houston Ship Channel just north of Highway 225 and West of Beltway Eight.
