About
In 1971, Terry Warren founded the first company, focusing on protective coatings, by developing a new specialist protective coating application company for the steel industry. Over the years, the company expanded to include rubber lining, polymer divisions, and steel tank fabricating and plate processing lines in the US and Canada. In 1983, Terry Warren founded Blastco in Brantford, Ontario specializing in field blasting and painting of water towers, aboveground storage tanks, bridges, dams, sluice gates, and other steel structures. Brant was founded as a two man operation. Building a reputation, Brant quickly expanded to accommodate large scale projects, adding liquid and powder coating services. Recognizing the need for protective coverings for industrial rolls, they also established a roll shop for designing and forming rubber and polyurethane covers.
