Commtrex is designed for businesses in the railroad and freight industry, including railcar lessors, shippers, brokers, transload operators, storage facility owners, rail service providers, and logistics professionals.

Navigate to the Leasing section and click 'Create Listing.' Provide details such as railcar type, quantity, condition, location, and lease terms. Your listing will be visible to qualified buyers across the marketplace.

You can find all major railcar types on Commtrex, including tank cars, covered hoppers, open hoppers, gondolas, boxcars, flatcars, and specialty equipment.

Once a lessee expresses interest in a listing, both parties can communicate and negotiate terms directly through the platform. Commtrex facilitates the connection but does not set pricing or terms.

Go to the Sales section and click 'Create Listing.' Enter the railcar type, quantity, year built, condition, asking price, and location. Interested buyers can contact you directly through the platform.

Yes. When viewing a sale listing, you can submit an offer or inquiry to the seller. All negotiations take place directly between buyer and seller.

Commtrex connects buyers and sellers but does not directly process railcar sale transactions. Parties negotiate and close deals on their own terms, often using their own legal and financial processes.

Use the Storage search to filter by location, capacity, rail line connections, and available services. You can request quotes from multiple facilities and compare options side by side.

Commtrex lists both short-term and long-term railcar storage options. Facilities may offer loaded or empty storage, hazmat storage, and various ancillary services such as switching and inspections.
