On March 18, 2020, President Trump signed the “Families First Coronavirus Response Act,” (“FFCRA”) which, among other things, significantly expands the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) through December 31, 2020, as a response to the Coronavirus pandemic, and creates a paid sick leave entitlement. At the direction of President Trump, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced, via Tweet, Friday, March 20 that the deadline to both file and pay 2019 Federal income taxes has been extended to July 15. CLICK HERE
