What are some lessons that working from home for the past month have taught you? (Kyle Khadivi)

Due to the pandemic, more people are working from home than ever before. Time management is always a useful skill to have in one’s toolbox but it is even more important as people are balancing work and family with full-time jobs, homeschooling, and household responsibilities. In the midst of the juggling act, one must remember to make time for self-care, whether it is exercise, meditation, or simply alone time.

It has also reinforced the need to continually be looking for ways to streamline business utilizing technology. Automation of reporting has been critical to our success in advancing efforts around productivity. We’re also continuing to focus more on the modernization of our operating systems to ensure alignment with today’s business model and scalability.

Finally, I cannot leave out the importance of effective communication when managing a network as broad as ours. Microsoft TEAMS has allowed the team to stay closely connected and continue collaborative efforts across the organization from terminal operations to sales & marketing.
